Privacy notice for quote requests

This notice applies when you ask for a quote through a price widget placed on a business's website and run by KeelFox Pro, a service of CR LLC.

Who is responsible

The business named in the form is the controller of your request: it decides how to use it to prepare your quote and contact you. KeelFox Pro processes it on that business's behalf: we store it, deliver it to them by email or to the tools they use, and show it in their dashboard.

What we collect

• What you type: name, phone number, email, postcode, the finish level you chose, when you would like to start and any notes.
• The price you were shown and the job and area it was for.
• Your consent: the exact wording next to the checkbox and the time you gave it.
• Technical data: your IP address, your browser's user agent and the page the widget was on, used to prevent abuse and as a record of your consent.

The widget sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts.

Why, and on what basis

To pass your request to the business you chose so it can give you a quote (steps you asked for before a possible contract), and to contact you by phone, text or email on the basis of your consent. We do not sell your data, share it with other businesses or use it for marketing.

How long it is kept

As long as the business keeps its KeelFox Pro account, and no longer than 30 days after the account is closed. The business may keep its own copy under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time by telling the business, for example by replying STOP to a text. You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object and to data portability. Contact the business first; you can also write to pro@keelfox.com, naming the business you contacted, and we will pass your request on and help. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Providers and transfers

We use service providers for hosting and email delivery, under contracts that allow them to use the data only to provide their service to us. Where data is processed outside the UK, it is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or another lawful safeguard.
