Estimates, not quotes

The costs on KeelFox are estimates calculated from published labour hours, wage statistics, material prices and market data. They show typical ranges, not the price of your job. The real cost depends on your home, access, specifications, local conditions and the contractor you hire. Always get written quotes from qualified professionals before deciding.

Information about grants, tax and regulations is general, may change, and is not legal, tax or financial advice. Check the official sources or a qualified adviser before relying on it.

No liability for decisions

We work to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we give no warranty that it is complete, accurate or suitable for your purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and consumers keep all rights granted by mandatory law in their country.

Using the site

You may quote short extracts with a link to the source page. Our embeddable cost data may be used as provided, with the credit line intact.

Quotes you share

When you share a quote with the quote checker, you allow us to use the anonymous figures to calculate and publish statistics and estimates. Do not include personal information.

Intellectual property

The site's texts, cost model, illustrations, design and brand are owned by CR LLC or its licensors. Some data comes from public sources under open licences; see the methodology and data sources page for attributions.
